Did you also know Microsoft (Blizzard’s parent company) also supplies AI used in the killing of innocent Palestinians?

The first pride was a zerg rush

Well, shoot. I’m still boycotting Blizzard because they banned a player from tournament play over voicing support for the Hong Kong protests. Now I need to boycott them for an entirely different humanitarian reason? Good thing they don’t make good games anymore or I’d be kind of upset.

      Broke: giving blizzard money
      Woke: boycotting blizzard
Bespoke: playing overwatch without buying anything so they have to pay for more servers

Overwatch characters were famously made gay the same day bad news about Activision/Blizzard was released in order to drown out bad press.

Remember the California lawsuit? Yup, lifesaver released, and wups they’re pansexual.

Agreed, this pride thing has gone too far. We are supposed to support Overwatch players? What’s next? Will they want us to treat Fortnite players like they are human? There has to be a reasonable line drawn somewhere.

Seems weird someone supportive of pride month says they don’t want to engage with it or be supportive because a corporation also knows June is pride month and marketing capitalizes on that.

I don’t understand that, or maybe I’m misreading this post somehow?

Yeah the joke is meant to be lampooning that rightoid tendency to get pissy when brands support queer people. The rightoid would be mad that Overwatch was involved in Pride and drop Overwatch. OP inverted it, dropping Pride because they associate with Overwatch.
