Yeah, the lack of reflection is magical rather than a product of physics, so it makes sense that anything which is considered part of a vampire’s person would be included. It comes down to what we collectively feel is or isn’t part of the vampire.
But then that has me thinking also: If one person thinks of clothes as being part of the vampire and another does not, will they each see different versions of the reflection? That makes sense to me as being something that would be true.
I’m also reminded about how Animorphs had to make concessions about tight clothing being included in transformations so that she wasn’t just writing about naked little kids all the time. I’m pretty sure the children had to work at considering the clothes part of themselves, and that the transformations were based in controlling their sense of physical self, but those books were a very long time ago for me.
