    Isn’t Gimp supposed to be pretty good if you can get past the learning curve? Idk it’s been like eight years since I’ve used it

      yep, all bad press is from people who pirated photoshop in high school and refuse to grow beyond that.

      I used it pretty exclusively. Didn’t even realize there was that much of a learning curve, but I wouldn’t know any different

      Idk what the “learning curve” is. It’s not really harder to use than Photoshop for basic things IMO. If you want fancy AI tools Photoshop is better but GIMP does have some.

        Idk like I said it’s been years since I’ve used it but that’s what I always heard in relation to gimp vs paid options (or paid option)

      I use it casually.
      There is some simple task I always try to do, which trips me up every time, and I always forget what it is or how to do it by the next time I go to use it.

      It probably is, but the interface is also really bad.
