Oral before regular sex?! I’ve been doing that exclusively for decades and never had a UTI from that. Maybe if you’re sensitive to UTIs, but that generally should never happen if you’re not.

I would be much more hesitant if I experienced that, I’m so sorry you have to deal with that D: In my experience, my partners have gone from mouth to V, mouth to A, kissing, whatever and it hasn’t been an issue. The only thing I (and luckily all of my partners I’ve ever been with) are a very hard “no” on are things going IN a butt then touching anything else without being washed thoroughly.
That sounds significantly less stressful. It’s unequivocally rare to have to take as many precautions, but that’s how it goes. Different strokes. Or, I guess, different order of operations.
Honestly, I’m skeptical about oral before coitus. UTIs suck.
