- You know, I find it quite annoying that hackers will choose a target like Steam rather than a force that’s actually evil in this world. Like, put your skills to good use at least… - Right? If you’re gonna be a dick, why not fuck someone who deserves it? - They might think forcing people to do something besides videogames would result in less apathy twoards the problems facing our world.

- I played a few DoTA games with friends while this was occurring and twice during gameplay approximately 10 seconds of play experienced some server-side lag for everyone in the game - there were moments of confusion that rapidly passed. Steam ops team did well. - Truly a tremendous impact and a fantastic use of the attackers time and resources. - My game last night was more like a couple minutes of lag. Luckily, Dota has an in-built system to detect it, so the game wasn’t recorded and those of us who didn’t leave spent the remainder of the game messing around.
- Kinda puts the Silksong launch into perspective…

- Is it the same people ddosing the aur - Oh, that might have been me. Installed Cachy the other day and tried out a lot of packages just to see what works. Sorry about that.
- Manjaro? - Could be, but it happened before this a day ago (as of writing this)

- Imagine being so much of a turbovirgin that you have to ddos arch virgins. - (I use Arch btw)

- So that’s why I had one update stuck on Steam yesterday.
