Kash Patel made sure to pump himself up for Wednesday’s contentious hearing with the House Judiciary Committee by writing himself motivational notes, a photo from Getty reveals.

The photo reveals the FBI Director praising himself for various clashes with lawmakers during the hearing, and that he also wrote himself reminders to do his best. The four lines read, “Good fight w/ Swalwell,” “Hold the line,” “Brush off their attacks” and “Rise above next line of [illegible] attacks.” It appears the illegible word could be “Partisan.”

The FBI director needed all the positive affirmation he could get after two days of hardened testimony before Congress. The day prior, Patel, 45, decidedly did not “brush off” the attacks of opposing Senators during his hearing with the Senate Judiciary Committee. Patel engaged in shouting matches with Adam Schiff and Cory Booker as the Democratic senators grilled him on the FBI’s bungled manhunt for Charlie Kirk’s shooter and accused him of being a pawn in an Epstein cover-up.

At Wednesday’s hearing in front of the House, Patel revealed he couldn’t remember the name of Charleston church shooter Dylan Roof.

As for Patel’s “good fight w/ Swalwell,” the Director was referring to his exchange with California House Democrat Eric Swalwell, in which he dodged the rep’s “yes or no” question on whether Patel told Attorney General Pam Bondi that President Donald Trump’s name appeared in the Epstein files. That exchange ended with Patel saying he was going to call “bulls–t” on Swalwell’s career in Congress.

Patel, a former cigar entrepreneur, children’s book author and MAGA podcaster, has come under heavy scrutiny from Democrats and Republicans alike for the FBI’s refusal to release the Epstein files. Patel claimed on Wednesday that there is “no credible information” that Epstein trafficked women to anyone other than himself. He also dismissed Epstein victims who, in interviews with the FBI, listed twenty other men who they were trafficked to.

Patel faces a lawsuit from three former senior FBI officials who served the Bureau for decades. The trio claim they were fired for flunking improper loyalty tests for President Trump.

The lawsuit was filed on Sept. 10, the morning conservative influencer Charlie Kirk was shot at Utah Valley University. It took the FBI 33 hours to apprehend his alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, who ended up turning himself in.

When I hear about something like this, the natural human reaction (for non-psychopaths) is to go “aw, poor guy. We’ve all been there.”

But then I remember what he’s doing, and I brush that reaction off. Fuck him, I hope he’s having a miserable time and that no amount of self-affirmation helps him.

I don’t think most people are mocking him for simply having a list of self affirmations. I am terrible at public speaking. I think most people would understand why anybody would use them as a reminder/motivator to stay on point while speaking.

However, he is using affirmations in order to take the stand, and deflect from the truth and the testimony he was asked to provide.

These are little affirmations to help remind him to stay on track/DARVO as he gaslights and betrays the entire country. These notes just show that he got caught using the default strategy every neoconservative uses when under fire.

I don’t feel sorry for this guy. He can DARVO all he wants, but if you understand exactly what he’s doing and the context of when he is doing it, its kind of impossible to view him as a victim. We have got to stop letting these people distort reality.

Watching deep-brown Kashyap attempting to outfash the fascists is quite a pathetic spectacle. His ancestors must be spinning in their graves.

Even this idiot Vivek Ramaswamy realized he was being used as the token MAGA person of color and had the good sense to pull out at the last minute.

He’s an ass who thinks everyone is out to get him, but as your friendly Internet psychologist I do want to remind you all that it’s ok to have self affirmations.

I’m not sure Kash is even doing it right, though lol

Yes, but I don’t think Congress wants to try holding the director of the FBI, Trump’s pet lapdog, in contempt.
