Catholics do not have to agree with anything the Pope says that isn’t part of official church doctrine. It’s just opinion. The ‘Papal Infallibility’ thing is very misunderstood. The Pope and Catholics are allowed to have non-doctrinal differences of opinion.
Now, if the Pope made some official proclamation as High Pontiff that supporting the Israeli genocide in Gaza was in violation of that doctrine and Biden opposed it, he would not be “Catholic enough.”
But not Catholic enough to take the pope’s lead when it comes to Gaza.
