I believe Linux distros aimed at nontechnical users should strive to not need a user to ever use a terminal, but I also believe folks should be encouraged to try them anyways.

13th Amendment
Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
No you fucking fascist it’s a right, not a privilege
would that include a ride to the DMV that might be unreachably far away?
would that include forcing all DMV locations to remain open 7 days a week and until late at night, so folks who have to work earlier and later than their DMV’ business hours could actually participate?
would it include the costs of replacing other required documents if lost, like birth certificate or social security card?
would it reimburse lost money from having to take unpaid time off of work to go get this “free” ID?
would it compel employers to give workers time off, so workers whose employers deny them even unpaid time off have some legal protection?
your point being?
who cares if it’s as low as 50 people? if they have the right to vote, imposing a new requirement for no good reason which prevents even just 50 people from voting is a violation of their rights.
there’s no need for it. it suppresses likely democratic voters while republicans are the ones who always push for this voter ID garbage. and you, apparently.
it’s blatant intentional voter suppression.
No. Absolutely not. What you’re describing is a Republican voter suppression tactic. It benefits Republican candidates, and Republicans have been admitting that for almost a decade.

After playing Megazeux, going back to ZZT just was never the same
I think they knocked the SH2 remake out of the park too, but I would absolutely still recommend playing the original as well. Especially the PC enhanced edition.
What about athletes with genetics that happen to give them athletic advantages that have nothing at all to do with sex?
Or athletes from wealthy backgrounds who had greater opportunity to train and condition than poorer athletes?
This is all so silly to me.

This sounds awesome! Thanks for sharing!
What issues do you run into with Wayland?
I hope it doesn’t become necessary for any country to invade El Salvador to free their people from that prison. It’s so fucked up how much it seems like a one-way door.
I’d love to develop a muscle memory for working with it, but nowhere I’ve worked uses it at all. But from memory it really wasn’t that complicated, and the errors it spat out into system logs basically told you exactly what command to run to get past that particular violation.
I don’t hate it at all. Just, never seen it used anywhere.
Grandad, you can’t tame the white supremacist power structure with cheese
