Sadly I have yet to see a truly compassionate FS 🥲
Strangley reminiscent of American Football. Americans invent a sport that no one else likes to play. They hold a tournament and proclaim the winner of said tournament “World Champion”.
THAT IS A BIG FAT LIE! The EU did not force any such thing. The EU simply said that people’s data cannot be used without consent. This is the website asking for consent.
Website developers have a perfectly valid choice not to collect any data. They chose their profits above your privacy.
I have a website and I don’t have a popup asking for consent, because I don’t need to, because I don’t collect any data.
But imagine this… an immoral rich human being, who’s family got rich by mining blood rubies in south Africa, buys reddit for 50B$. This person fires half the people and refuses to pay the bills for servers and the servers shut down… how will you access your favorite GoneWild posts? This is all fictional of course.
The police can shut down any protest, if it was not filed for in advance. Unless of course you protest with a tractor. The police is powerless against tractors. The hierarchy in Germany is therefore:
Tractor > Bureaucracy > Police > You and Me
How about ‘artists natural death’, full stop?
We wouldn’t want to get any funny ideas, would we?
If you say so…
Really? Kilo Megawatts?
I typed in “python flutter” into Google and clicked on the first link. The first pictures shows a bit of code and a simple window with two buttons. I go back to the code and skim it. It defines the buttons. How you cannot deduce from that, that this library makes UI says a lot about you.
I also think your assumption that click replaced argparse is wrong. Click heavily relies on decorators which makes separation of functional code and command line interface code either impossible or difficult. If you only care about your one program that is fine, but it does make your code not very reusable.
If your company adds it’s own SSL/TLS certificate on every PC, then yes… they can see almost everything.
The buzzword for this is “Next generation firewall” and “TLS decryption”.
Your company does not give shit about customer data or your privacy or rights.
You seriously think elections in Russia are not fraudulent? At this point, the only thing that can remove Putin is violence, either through combined effort of the people or by internal power struggle. That later will probably just result in an equally horrible replacement.
Yes, the graphic is wrong. Commercial nuclear fission power plants are either shutting down or will be shut down. New construction is not allowed.
