It’s a bill to not only make seeking refugee status more difficult, but also remove privacy protections for all canadians.

As someone who was woken up by a dirty paw in my mouth an hour before my alarm this morning, I’m not so sure.

• to get anywhere you generally need a car, highways and roads divide and spread everything which makes walking or biking difficult

• these above issues feed into the issue OP is pointing out. If you are lonely and your life isn’t going too well, then you’re gonna seek answers for this complicated issue. And fascists are all too willing to take advantage and provide simple answers. It then turns into a self feeding cycle.

I’m not religious and I don’t agree with the train of thought but I would think it’s probably something akin to “god sent these people to help me”

Food brings me joy and money brings me food, need nothing else in life.

Optimistic of them to assume that Israel won’t continue with other forms of genocide before March 2026. Their plan is to wipe out the population much sooner than that. Those of us outside of the US need to keep putting pressure on our politicians.

Historically, it has been violent unfortunately, and I don’t see that changing in this situation. Just hoping the violence is aimed at the right people soon before more innocent people die.

However, at least you had one choice that wasn’t actively also trying to destroy your own country and take away the rights of people in your own country to such an extent that they now can’t even worry about what’s happening elsewhere because they’re too worried trying to find healthcare and not get deported, killed, or permanently detained.
