I am completely convinced that people who say LLMs should not be used for coding…
Either do not do much coding for work, or they have not used an LLM when tackling a problem in an unfamiliar language or tech stack.
Sports ball is the best ball
Kids getting cocky.
Standard power fantasy stuff but I’m enjoying it.
Until this episode, I disliked that term for this show. Idunno, I like it when the protagonist actually fails now and then.
The funny thing is, both of these are JavaScript for me.
I mean I guess TypeScript if I’m doing coding for work.
They just released the patch on game pass.
Give it another shot.
Hey man! I’ve read this article a few times, perhaps from other comments on Lemmy!
Thanks for the write-up. I’m a programmer myself.
Stuck in operations in my new job until we’re done with the data center exit/ migration. Anyway cool beans, and very interesting article. Will keep all this in mind if any of my hobby projects take off.
Maybe, doesn’t mean I’ll ever use utorrent again
Try out qbitorrrent. You just might like it better
Among other things, utorrent uses your CPU for some kind of crypto mining scheme.
No joke
Daft Punk for the Honda Tron Remix 2.0 album or gtfo
Thankfully, it seems like places like the EU and now Japan are considering ALL use cases, not just the majority of them.
What an interesting read!
Thank you so much. Interesting to hear about Stoker’s widow, and her going to the courts to pursue a copyright claim.
Hey this is a pretty interesting story, got a link?
It’s not the same effect. Then the sauce will be salted, and the pasta will maybe absorb some of that salt.
But, in my opinion, that’s an inelegant solution.
I personally do not want any more salt in the pasta sauce than what’s already in there. I do, however, want my pasta to take in a little salt from the water.
For those reasons, I add a little salt to my water as it’s boiling
I read the collection of this manga at some random school library years and years ago, and something about th visual noir style and the detective story set in a manga seared itself into my young brain.
I’m actually waiting to see the anime before going back to reread the manga to see how much mumy experience of the media has changed over the years.
If you’re really comparing LLM’s to your Encarta cd from 1995 and saying the Encarta CD was the superior experience…
I’m afraid there’s not much left for us to discuss… Our views are too far apart.
Nah, nah to your understanding of LLM’s
No it’s not true intelligence. Yes, it makes humans much faster at their work
It has really sped up my work, especially when coding in unfamiliar languages.
It’s silly to compare it to a parlor trick or text prediction.
I was wrong about the pi hole. The other point stands.
Yep I watched it and I really liked it
