The games can be installed on an NTFS drive, but the compatdata has to be on EXT4 (or some other well supported file system for Linux)

Not optimal, but using Waydroid on Linux, Android apps feel almost like they run natively (no need to start a emulator manually).

I’m so confused why Bungie doesn’t just flip the Linux switch on… they don’t have to do anything else. Cheating can’t be the problem, since most cheats are developed for Windows anyways… as for support, the Linux community is very self sufficient, look at all the games running on through proton out of the box
And not to an app to browse a social network, when there’s free alternatives without ads
