Summary
Former McNairy County Sheriff’s deputy Connor Brackin, 24, has been fired and charged with seven counts of aggravated animal cruelty and eight counts of reckless endangerment after allegedly shooting seven dogs during an animal welfare check in Bethel Springs, Tennessee.
Brackin, who had been on the job for less than a month, reportedly released one dog to the welfare caller before killing the others for unknown reasons.
Following a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation probe, Brackin turned himself in and was released on bond.
Dude didn’t even make it a full month on the force before doing something so needlessly violent that he got fired and charged. Way to pick 'em.
In my town, a sheriff deputy was sworn in and fired later in the same day for stalking and trying to use his position to solicit nude photos from an underage high school student. I think we win the terrible judgement contest.
How far south?
Pretty damn far south… How on earth did you guess?
The south has a unique blend of high deference to police and low education. Someone thinking the best way to get teen girl nudes is to become a cop and abuse his power had Bible belt vibes to me.
