Put cameras with live feed on ship without fuel that is shot into the ring with all the billionaires in the galaxy on board and then it’s turned into a tv show for everyone else to watch as they deal with whatever the heck they encounter for everyone else’s entertainment.

I love when that happens though!

It’s similar to Cara Gee being so awesome to work with that she wound up taking the place of like 5 book characters. Ty and Wes both rave about her every chance they get in the podcast. IIRC they’ve talked about Ashfords actor being fantastic to work with too.

I highly recommend the book series! There are enough differences from the show to keep it fresh, AND the story in the books goes much further then the show got to.

I’ve read the first book of the series after watching the whole show, but I found it less interesting than the show - does it get better with the next ones?

Mi go proudly to mi death

And mi try wit mi dying breath

To warn of the rocks to fall

Sorry to be that guy: “space” is never an adjective but “space billionaire” is a compound noun

On the show and in the books it means to throw someone out an airlock

I try to make sure I fully understand a meme before commenting as it avoids awkward situations like this.

Adding a qualifying statement still makes you ‘that guy’

As already pointed out, I was referring to the first panel (that contains an adjective).

It’s a common misconception that two words written with a space can’t be a compound noun but that’s wrong. It’s an arbitrary writing convention that has nothing to do with linguistic categories.

I wanted just to use this opportunity to educate. Nothing really wrong with the meme though, I totally like it!

Thanks, and good point. Your first comment was legitimately the first one I read as soon as I woke up (and pre-caffeine infusion), so I apologize for reading it too quickly, misunderstanding, and being short with you.

Usually ‘not to be that guy’ statements are persnickety, and I find them frustrating in general, since that level of pedantry is a large part of why I left previous SM platforms.

Again, sorry. I’ve since slithered out of bed, and evolved through the necessary phases of human evolution required to interact with people.

            No worries 😉

I guess I need another wording for my “this isn’t against you but let me point out this random fact”-comments. Because I really do hate to the that guy.
