How do these paid shills for big Nintendo even get the job in the first place? Asking for a friend.

But…I actually love pikachu and gaming. :(

Specifically Ash’s pikachu, and no other, but still.

Wait, does this mean Nintendo owes me money? Because I’ll accept.

Same dude. My love for Ash’s Pikachu was cemented when, as a kid, I watched Pikachu tank a lightning bolt and save Ash from a swarm of Spearow. Such a great episode and a memory that kid me will never forget, an invaluable lesson about friendship and love.

That episode made me beg my parents for Pokémon Red. Ha, and Pocket Pikachu now that I think about it - the Pokémon Tamagatchi.

No, but here’s a lawsuit for saying trademarked fictional character’s name

I’m so disappointed in myself that I can’t find a way to make the surprised pikachu meme an appropriate response to this.

        I cackled nonetheless.

It’s Pokemons mascot, the chosen one everyone’s supposed to love. Like big Nintendo is telling you to like the mouse!!! I mean I figured the joke would flow better. But frankly I don’t care for Pikachu unless it’s original chubby Pikachu.

Just liking something that’s the most popular thing doesn’t mean that you can’t still really appreciate it and be in that subculture

Because only streamers who actually like pokemon and aren’t just shills would know the names of obscure pokemon

      Thing is…

If your favorite is Pikachu and you’re not a 5 year old watching the anime…

It means you don’t actually know many Pokémon.

I have many favorites. Two of mine are Vaporeon and Alolan Marowak.
