I found this little lady on the center barrier of a metro freeway. We are both very lucky to be here…I did the stupid thing and went across three lanes of traffic to save her, and we both survived that. I do not condone this. Her name, Flatmeat, is a placeholder while we find her a home. It’s inspired by Simpsons hit and run.

Dude I’m going to say that while impressive that you went to those lengths to save a cat. Next time call animal control so they can bring sirens and a cop car out to be able to stop traffic because that was the stupidest thing you can do. Just imagine if you gotten hit by a car you not only would have ruined your family’s life but you would have ruined somebody else’s life that killed you because you were dumb enough to go after an animal.
