The group behind this is the legal bullying group Uk Lawyers for Israel. A lobbying group used to legally force people to abide by Israels agenda in the UK. Here is another lawsuit where they forced college sociology professors to pass a student after he said Israel wasn’t responsible for “the crimes of hamas against students”. I’m not going to argue with that but the hospital administrators should be blamed too. They should’ve told the lawyers to fuck off but they’re likely too scared of being called antisemites to do that.
I would imagine they were also scared of the potential for fines or anything else, since it was a lawyer that insisted the pictures would be removed. If I am a hospital admin, I don’t care how spineless it makes me look but I am going to save the money for the hospital to use instead of even potentially having to spend it on court fees/fines.
