Today’s game is Ghost of Tsushima. Nothing particularly special about today. I got this sick ass screenshot though of this Mongol Leader fighting me after i lit him on fire. It reminds me of one i feel like i remember getting of another game. Maybe The Last of us Part 2? I’m not 100% sure on that though and all my pictures i think are unfortunately gone. We’ll have to see though, maybe i got lucky and backed them up. That was right about the time i converted all my photos to JPEG XL and stored them so maybe i did that too.

I’ve been having a lot of fun doing portraits in this game namely. Something about this game’s people captures my desire to do portraits like it does in real life. I’d share some of them, but they’re all of close friends and family and feel a little uncomfortable sharing them in that way, but here’s a goose. Anyways, i do wish i had some finer control over things. Working with RAW photos recently has completely spoiled me with the control i get.

This game has ignited a desire in me too in order to go back and replay Silent Hill f, there’s been a few things that remind me of it in this game and i really want to go back and get the last few endings. After this i might pop over and do that. I was also talking to my friend about continuing our Halo CE LASO run, so that might be something i’ll look into, we’ll see.
Overall a pretty uneventful day, i mostly had more fun taking photos than actually playing the game. So note to self to keep my hands off the photo mode a little more next time.

I think the main thing putting me off is how everyone talks about the difficulty. I once tried Elden Ring and got my ass handed to me by this boss right at the start, so I’m not too confident in my souls like abilities.
I might pick up the remake on sale though and try it since you suggest it though
I think the difficulty is overrated, which is not to say it’s an easy game, but you just have to be more deliberate with your actions. Instead of just mashing buttons, you have to be mindful of enemy’s actions and keep your stamina in mind.
Of course, no guarantees that everyone will like it, but I think people shouldn’t skip it just because of it’s reputation of difficulty. For instance, I know people who have finished Dead Cells but never tried Dark Souls because of the difficulty, while I have finished Dark Souls, but was never able to beat even the first boss of Dead Cells 😀
In short, the game is difficult, but not that difficult, and worth at least trying it once.
