    Flanged mace all the way. The armor penetration of a blunt weapon combined with really nasty serrated/rusted edges. Your weapon doesn’t really degrade with use, unlike bladed weapons getting dull or rolled edges.

    This chart is missing the “goedendag” though. A critical oversight ;)

      Yeah, out of all of these, it looks the most like it’s made by a craftsman who gave real thought about form and function. Whatever side you’re holding it is the right side. Just grip it and clobber away, it will dent whatever has the misfortune to be on its path. The thick edges are durable, and pointy because sharp wasn’t enough so double fuck you for getting hit with this. It looks heavy but light enough to be swung quickly.

      Also if we set aside the horrific wounds it was meant to inflict on people, there’s a sense of harmony about those lines and it’s not unpleasant to look at.
