So they also wish to stop people being able to find jobs that would enable people to pay for their monopoly, prevent them from access the marketplaces where those same people would have a chance to buy their products? Now who’s hurting potential earnings?

No one in the recording industry has ever considered how stupid their plans are. If they did, they would stop constantly giving piracy free advertising.
