Have a look at Droidian - it’s aim is to be as close to Mobian / Debian, but running Halium instead of mainline kernel

Open Source@lemmy.ml•how much do you donate to the apps you use?English
17·6 months agoI donate 25€ per month to Droidian. It uses the Android kernel to run a Debian based Linux distro on phones.
Though I would rather see mainline Linux on phones succeed, I believe this could be the best alternative to iOS / Android (OS) until that happens.
Have you seen the tutorials for FreeCAD by MangoJelly?https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCUWhaOxsRk_5oPPq00_Y7Dw
FreeCAD is the most complete open source CAD project you’ll find. I agree it is a steep learning curve, but it pays off to work through it, if you want to 3D print your designs.
If you want to create 3D models for games, or what not Blender is, as you say a great option.

Technology@lemmy.world•The Document Foundation is proud to release LibreOffice 25.8English
1·10 months agoOn Debian you can fix this by installing libreoffice-gtk3

Depending on what you’re looking for .
UT is great, but if you’re familiar with Linux, Droidian is closer to what you’re used to from your desktop. You’ve got APT, flatpak and the terminal on your phone.
