I mean first of all, not every part of the world needs it. Second… everyone who needs it and can’t afford it should also have access.
Giving it to group A does not, in cases like this, preclude group B from it as well.

PlanarAlly has been fantastic for my group so far!
Fitness data is typically provided by services like Google Fit as non-diagnostic non-medical information. Therefore HIPPA compliance is not required.

Awesome idea for a D&D monster though. A coin mimic which only attacks when you try to spend it lol
That’s not a storm drain, known as an inlet. That’s a pipe section functioning as a culvert or outfall.
I worked for the stormwater division of my city up until recently.
We had 6 people responsible for the inspection of over 30,000 pieces of stormwater infrastructure all of which needs to be inspected within a 5 year cycle. We also have to deal with citizen complaints, assisting other departments, updating maps/inventories, writing EPD/EPA reports, etc. and all for 15-18$/hr. My experience is far from abnormal as well.
We need city level government to actually give a shit about stormwater infrastructure to even get things working halfway properly let alone setup safety features.
Valinor - Proxmox server Khazad-Dum - TrueNAS Scale Rivendell - Ubuntu 22.04 server
Got a few others as well, but those are the ones I interact with the most.
Literally not at all. It’s a completely different genre.
A secure but inaccessible server is useless.
Security must take into account the needs of the real world.
So, at least on Samsung, the MyFiles app, the default file browser, allows for network connections via smb.
In my case, I use a vpn to tunnel into my network, and then just use the smb share.
It also allows for FTP and SFTP.
SSHFS also has a windows release.
Y’all are listening to audiobooks at 1.5x???
I just tried it… it’s like clippy. How do you do that?
There’s a weird thing with bind mounts and permissions.
In my case, for my Ubuntu VM to have correct perms for 0:0 (root), the PID and GID in ProxMox’s fstab need to be like 11000:10000 or something.
It’s apparently working as intended that way, but it’s weird.
I’m both a gamer and HP fan.
I thought the game was great, and I didn’t really realize the depths of people’s distaste for it, I guess.
Was it crazy revolutionary? No, but it was fun.
Right now my TrueNAS is virtualized and I truly hate it. It’s been a constant issue for me.
That said, I can’t afford separate hardware atm. I will be able to soon, but not quite yet lol
I don’t think this would solve your particular use case. However, SSHFS is absolutely amazing for remote smb share access.
I used it on my laptop to access my home NAS for years.
No it still proves it.
Voting = change. However, sometimes change doesn’t go your direction.
You definitely can. Idk why the commentor above you thinks its local only?
I have two severs I swap between exactly like you describe.
Give them no more than a page. However, you should also be able to boil your setting down to a sentence. “It’s kinda somewhere between Mass Effect’s story and the world of Dragon Age, but more low-tech” was my elevator pitch to my players.
Haven’t seen that referenced in a hot minute lol
