This is the dilemma all artists of every variety have to face and have ever since art has been a concept. Ideally one can find a balance between the two. I was broke most of my adult life because I felt I had “too much integrity” to create things that made money. That’s selling out, right? If I was smart I would have sold out to fund the things I really wanted to do but I didn’t have that insight when I was young.

When the BLM marches happened in New Orleans you hardly saw any cops. Where were they? Always a block away directing traffic away from the marchers to prevent congestion. New Orleans has huge events year round with people parading through the streets making NOPD particularly adept at crowd control. They just left the protesters alone and routed everybody around them.

I marched ever day for a week and there wasn’t a single act of violence on either side.

I must be using MMS for texting. All of those features work for me and anyone I text with. The only issue I’ve ever had is imessage compressing videos to and from my android.

I still don’t get it

Somebody please tell me what’s wrong with just texting? Why did half the world decide SMS needed to be replaced with a proprietary app? It works, everyone has it and there’s no confusion. Unless you are concerned about privacy or something, why not just text?
