Ya. It’s a pretty preliminary article, hard to say much about it.

You can check an eBook out, but there are examples of issues, something like the library can only do it five times or whatever. It isn’t treated like an actual book. I don’t know the details but there are problems with eBook rentals.
Digital anything is not covered by the first sale doctrine. Every individual loan is a copy
So this is basically why ebooks are problematic at libraries then? That issue alone really seems like it needs a legal update.
Last year, I attended a week long workshop about tribal relations. It was also led by people from different tribal groups. This was a big takeaway, that people in my position often “consult” with native folks by telling them what decision has been made, instead of having them a seat at the decision making table. Essentially, no consultation and definitely no sharing on decision.
Yes, but what does it mean if the USA is not a participant of the ICC? FAFO? Maybe it needs to happen.
I honestly don’t know but that sounds like a good possibility 🙂
Thanks, fixed. Not sure who the other person is.
Is there anything to be disappointed in Jack Smith about? Maybe. But it pales in comparison to what we have to be disappointed in Amy Aileen Cannon about. The judge is the only disappointing story here.
I’m surprised this isn’t related to Squirrel Stapler.
Actually I’m really confused with how that list is done.
I think I understand what you are saying (about the title, ya?), buy are they not connected somehow?
I live in a rural town (1 hour+ drive in any drection to the next town) and I could see this being a good thing if implemented correctly. This town isn’t equipped for an influx of any people, but has vacant lots that could be turned into a variety of housing. There aren’t a lot of jobs, but I would think more people would mean more things could be offered. Potentially great way to invest in rural areas!
Is RCS still a Google-driven scheme? I liked using Signal and its ability for messaging high quality images but it dropped support for nonusers.
