At one time I did, and to my surprise, my friend did just that! Unlocked their phone and handed it to me without a word. Welp.

I tried arguing against this, but it’s no use. I tried pointing out how something can be branded illegal retroactively, like 20 years down the line, I tried the “give me your credit card info” approach, nothing took. 90% of the time the counter-argument is usually something to the effect of “big companies know everything about me anyway”, which is just guessing on their part.
I’m just going to take care of my own privacy, because I’m clearly in the minority (present company excluded, of course). Almost everyone I know disregards online privacy completely, so I’m done trying to get a dialogue going with these people; it’s every man for himself. The only way online privacy will become a hot topic among laymen is when something nasty happens and at that point, it will have been too late.
You leave my unhealthy obsessions out of this!

It’s not gonna be easy. It’s gonna be really hard, and we’re gonna have to work at this every day. But I wanna do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever. You and me. Every day. You piece of shit.
Greek Brain Drain incoming.
Are people asking for a Bloodborne remake? I always thought they just wanted a port to systems other than PS4. Which I still think Sony should do.
True for most screw-ups in gaming, yes, but not this time. The studio in question, Paradox Tectonic missed three Early Access deadlines. It sounds like Tectonic bit off more than they could chew. I like bashing execs as much as the next guy, but if you miss three deadlines at any job, you’re probably getting the axe.
Oh shit, that was Sylux from Prime 3’s secret ending. I loved the Prime games, I’m pretty hyped about this.
Yes, I’m sure every developer will jump at the chance to develop something for a dying platform.
Probably what he meant, yes, but that’s not a sequel. I would even hesitate to call it a spiritual successor. It’s basically just Civ in spaaaaace.
I often use UT, Q3 and CS 1.6 as examples of how long a game can stay active when players are given tools to setup their own servers, as opposed to companies handling multiplayer themselves (and often killing it off in a few years).
Seconding the Blackwell series, with a caveat. The earlier games can be a little rough around the edges, resulting in a few Guide Dang It! moments. Walkthroughs are your friends.
Yeah, single player games are nowhere near dead. If they ever did go the way of the dodo, I would probably stop playing altogether, because for the most part I just don’t like multiplayer games.
So, business as usual for Bethesda.
Dunce here, I don’t get the joke. Can somebody explain? Are ceiling lights something ND people don’t like?
Ooh, I’m always down for some spying. Especially if high tech toys are involved. Here’s hoping it’ll be good.
Ah. I… honestly hadn’t noticed. Apologies, OP. Removing previous comment.
Nah, that would just make me a dick.
