Any VPN app can be turned on from the notification short cuts or atleast WireGuard and Windscribe can.
How do you activate this on AnySoftKeyboard? Mine only autocorrects the current language.
Afaik LibreWolf has the global menu patch included. So it should still work on Firefox.
I haven’t found a way to edit the order or deactivate certain layout but would be interested to.
BTW swiping upwards from the space bar gives you some nice extra buttons.
I don’t know how your upper row is configured but if it’s anything like mine, you simply press the left button (labeled 123!#() in the beginning) til you reach the numeric keyboard
I guess you’re looking for AnySoftKeyboard
Sustainability of a business strategy? But wouldn’t that cost them those sweet short term gains?
You overestimate most peoples tech skills. They will never know because they have auto-updates activated.
Telegram is a shell company and only offers mediocre, opt-in encryption. The thing I like most about them is their support for 3rd party clients.
I have to use their service for some contacts same as with WhatsApp but I would prefer more secure and privacy friendly alternatives.
I’m not saying that WhatsApp is the good guy here, Meta sucks but compared to Telegram I rather trust them if I have to.
And the unencrypted backups are only problematic when you use the automatic Google Drive upload.
WhatsApp’s e2e encryption is based on the Signal protocol and active by default. Telegram’s is opt-in. So much for Telegram’s superior privacy…
Diabetes, the only thing sweeter than him is his blood…
This only applies for the offline installation
Fun fact: slugs are called naked snails in German (Nacktschnecken)
I bought one used as a Couch PC and replaced ChromeOS with a proper linux install.
An immutable distro, to my understanding, locks core components of Linux (mainly /sys afaik) from interaction from not only bad actors but also the user so that you can’t fuck up you’re system in a way like Linus from LTT (removing X11 by forcefully ignoring all warnings). Applications can be installed as Flatpak, AppImage, Snap or through OverlayFS from regular repositories.
Advantages to (non- tech savvy) users are an additional layer against their own mistakes and easier support since the important stuff is identical on every install of the given distro.
EndeavourOS twice on the list?
