Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•What's the best way to get rid of an old mattress? Wrong answers only. Worst idea I'll actually do.
4·2 days agopack it as tightly as possible, and put it in a stage-box (think musicians, drum set, etc). Go to random hotel check into room with your “instruments” for your “gig” tomorow. switch mattress before leaving next moring.

5·11 days agoProbably because i don’t go out that much.
Ehm… i would respectfully disagree that a poop once a week is fine.
That would be a reason to see a doctor if this persists for any length of time…

Gaming@beehaw.org•What are some good, populated multiplayer games that have a free-for-all mode?
2·16 days agoI was joking, but don’t be intimidated, they made progress in introducing players, and it really is a one-of-a-kind game if you want multiplayer.

5·25 days agoI once read somewhere 30 years ago to literally sit on your hands when doing stuff like that.
I have followed this advice since, and confused a lot of co-workers over the years when i stop what i’m doing and sit on my hands while i re-read what is on the screen.
humans make mistakes, and sometimes mistakes are really really not what you want. everything that helps is a good thing :)
works too i guess?

Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•Lutris maintainer: "I've removed the Claude co-authorship from the commits a few days ago. So good luck figuring out what's generated and what is not."English
542·1 month agoThat is the real shame in all this. I’m certainly not updating lutris any more, because there is no way of knowing what you will install on your system.
You can trust humans (as in “trusting is an option”). You can never trust an LLM. And admitting that there might be unsupervised commits, being installed on possibly thousands of PCs is terrifying.

2·1 month agoI wonder how well that is received by their staff :D

That is a great Headline(?) of the post. Took me a minute to get.
Also made me think, do especially tall people have more vertebrae?
Do all humans have the exact same number of bones?
why?
that seems incredibly random.
Not even one little extra bone?
