Yeah. I had a game pass subscription back when it launched but I didn’t play it because of the full gameplay and world.

I played a few newly bought used games on my PS3 this weekend and it was really how I could just put in the disc and play the games. There weren’t even updates for the games, the finished game was right on the disc and I could play them instantly.

This is what I will do. I’ll play my backlog, buy used games on disc and newer releases on gog.

Since you have to install the games anyway, they can be delivered on multiple discs. Horizon Forbidden West for example had multiple discs.

The difference with Valve is that I still can use my PC hardware if Steam should get unavailable. I can’t download games from other stores on the Playstation.
