Yeah seriously, imagine saying that out loud. No being fair and including everyone!

Not at all. I read the whole thing expecting that I would get bored of some rambling like is often the case, but here I am having read all the way through. There’s something so good about reading an articulate angry rant that ends when it needs to.

I’m a big fan. Seen all her specials and saw her live this year. She is a big talent. I’m happy for her. In other words, I don’t think it’s that good bits are being promoted, they’re all good bits.

She is pure brilliant.
Probation period is commonly 6 months during which time it’s basically at will employment. This is the time to figure out your hire and deal with it.

Yeah, I think there’s more that platforms can do to help but I don’t think age verification or reading messages is it either.
What really annoys me is how people will go… Parents should parent… But then nobody is helping them figure out the best way to parent a child on apps. How are they supposed to know what to do? They’re probably not on Roblox themselves, don’t know anyone who is, don’t understand it, don’t know how best to talk about it with their kid, etc. Parental controls are great but not enough, parents need help to do the best thing. They aren’t all knowing and this shit is changing all the time.
I think it’s the responsibility of parents to parent but it’s also the duty of the company to help them understand their product and how best to help their kid and it’s the duty of us all to look out for the most vulnerable in society.

"Roblox allowed Ethan to turn off the parental controls "
If true, this is very damning for Roblox.
Parents can’t be everywhere all the time checking what they already set up, that’s unrealistic.
I could give you great stories about the benefits of working from home too.
I agree we are social animals but we are also in varying life stages, we have different needs and wants, we are diverse as a species. Flexibility is the answer, not one size fits all now and forever.
It’s about what you support rather than what you currently are comfortable with. Do you support flexibility and future proofing your job against your personal life circumstances? Probably yes. Then you support flexibility of workplace.

It could be legit and a peaceful way to go but so far that’s not how this administration has operated. So it still could be legit but what a massive risk that is to take.

Good employees should be recognised by employers to boost morale and encourage other. Keeping good employees who know the place and all the history is good for business. That’s what’s in it for the employee. Other than just being nice to someone who’s been in your life for so long.
I agree that attendance isn’t necessarily good and shouldn’t be rewarded. He likely came in sick and employees without a healthy work/leisure balance are less productive so it’s not a good example to set either.

The comment did nothing but harm though. The other commenter is only saying just don’t comment then.
Yeah it read like baiting to me.

Eh they do a good job avoiding admitting stuff.

Definitely not admitting all of it, tbf.

Seatbelts are uncomfortable for me. Most of then don’t adjust for height so I am always having to move it away from my neck. I still always wear a seatbelt but legit uncomfortable.

No, it’s where your reality externally doesn’t match your internal idea of it so you ignore it away or rationalize it away, etc.
