Every now and then, there’s an article about some dumb shit a person on The View says. My reaction is always surprise that The View is still even a thing.

I noticed on paragraph 3 of this policy-mandated letter that literally no one but me will ever read–and it’s mind-boggling that even I read it–that you referred to “December 2022.”

As it is December 2023, and December 2023 is referred to multiple times elsewhere in the aforementioned letter, can you please clarify to which month this document refers?

I think it still has meaning. Just not the same meaning it had 10ish years ago. “Boomer” has transcended description of a particular generation and now refers to a general set of real or perceived attitudes and behaviors.

I worked overnights for 7 years in my late teens and early 20s. Pictures of me from then aren’t Saddam 10 minutes out of a hole bad, but they’re still pretty bad.

Fun fact! My first dnd character was an unwitting champion of Sune.

He was a gangster who primarily worked security in brothels before getting forced into adventuring. My DM reasoned that protecting sex workers by actively doing violence against Johns and shitty pimps meant he had protected more of Sune’s devotees than many of her paladins.

I only learned that because she saved me from a final failed death roll for just enough time to extract some narratively satisfying revenge. Then he got a killer epilogue.
