Hershey is going to start making chocolate??
I think I probably agree with your assessment, but I really just wanted to highlight that this thinking is endemic to western culture, or at least the slice of it with which I am familiar. Sure, a lot of people might not say things like this face-to-face, but you probably wouldn’t be shocked if you witnessed it, would you?
Just like with any other harmful idea, all it takes is one person in a room to say it loudly and persistently while everyone else says nothing (or fecklessly points out the person’s gender as if dispensing some profound insight).
Quit crying. You’ll be fine. Don’t be such a crybaby. Man up. Put on your big boy pants. Boys don’t cry. Boo hoo, gonna cry about it? Gonna cry like a little girl? Be a man. Face your problems like a man. Crying doesn’t help anything. Take it like a man. Don’t be a baby. You’re acting like a girl. Grow a pair. Suck it up and move on.
Why will men do literally anything besides talk about their feelings?
This, because it’s how i remembered it being drawn in Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land

My brain read this to the tune of Gangnam Style
It looks like it’s only the Ferd Fteenthousand having trouble. I’m down for road infrastructure being hostile toward oversized vehicles.
My cats like to announce loudly when they are done pooping. It’s a very specific and audibly differentiable meow, like they are notifying me to come clean up. 😂
I don’t think “decentralised” is the word y’all are disagreeing on. Define platform. Because I think the “platform” you’re talking about is the technology underpinning Bluesky (AT Protocol), which is decentralised, and others here are talking about the Bluesky “platform” itself, as in the service which is a single, centralised implementation of AT Protocol.

People used to think the moon drove people crazy. Turns out it was the sun the whole time
You forgot roadwork
Cool, serrated catheters
I’m not sure all of those generalisations hold up, but I think it’s safe to say that some people immigrate to a country because they want to live there, and some immigrate because they want the benefits associated with living there.
I don’t think a 5/10 game is necessarily bad, but it needs to have some kind of - I dont know, character? Niche appeal? - to shine for the players who are going to like it.
I’ll throw out Krater as an example. It’s not great, but it has a unique setting, great atmosphere, and some interesting ideas driving it. I kinda love it for its eccentricities in spite of the overall experience being a bit meh.
First thing that came to my mind was Crysis 2. Absolute mid-tier FPS, which was unfortunately pretty disappointing coming off of the first game.
Definitely worth a look if you just want to run around and shoot shit.
Please be real please be real
I would also assume this, if I hadn’t also repeatedly witnessed the exact behaviour the OP describes. The “instant honk on green” drivers also tend to follow up with whatever reckless maneuver allows them to beat you to the next red light by 1.5 seconds. Inattentiveness and impatience are both dangerous on the road.
