It’s a really good search engine and I have no reason to doubt their claims about privacy and cencorship but I have to say no there because beside finding piratebay in the normal search results it’s all just their claims and I don’t know of any sientific study or similar that ever tested any of the claims. If you don’t trust those promises self hosting SearX is probably a good option and I haven’t tried it in years but Qwant is another one with their own index aka independent results.

I already see the commends and only have one question, why are Linux users so fucking dum? countless people enjoy KDE, countless enjoy Gnome and others prefer Cinnamon or Pantheon, can’t we agree to say which we like/don’t like whenever it’s relevant rather than trash on the other DEs every time the name pops up?..

I use it and don’ care much but it’s definitely Torrenting so if you are in a country with bad laws and very paranoid you whould probably use a VPN but just know that the few actual lawsuites that came from this bs are at best symbolic and your chance to get hit by a lightning is probably a lot higher.

That’s not at all what I wrote, the Zuck was just one of the few to actually point out the monopolistic bs behind it all while the world seemed to party because Apple protects peoples privacy now…

Pruvate if you don’t count Apples own trackers, they don’t want to protect users fron Fuckbook but rather monopolize data collection and with it properly targeted ads on their devices, one of the only times I ever found myself agreeing with the Zuck!
