Satire Is Helping Spread Misinformation On Social Media
It doesn’t matter if it’s sarcasm or not, either way it’s misinformation.
The Inquisition still exists.

Yeah, they were probably just invited into the group by accident.

Whatever university has the strongest claim to be the oldest currently existing university probably also counts as the first university, because of the irregularity of the structure of learning institutions in the Classical and pre-Classical era (to the best of our knowledge).
That’s a weird argument. So if the University of al-Qarawiyyin stops operating, then some other place becomes the first university?
Generally we consider a university more like a school - with set staff, set students, and a set course of learning
That’s more of a modern understanding of what a university is like (and I doubt it is an accurate description of the mosque that Fatima al-Fihri made).
Academy was a place where philosophers and important folk got together to mutually intellectually enrich each other,
A ‘community of masters and scholars’ one might say, or in latin ‘universitas magistrorum et scholarium’ which is the origin of the word ‘university’. The original point of Universities was the same as that of the Academy. The teaching of students is just a side effect of achieving that goal since teaching is a great way to learn.

What about Plato’s Academy? It was an institution of higher learning, and it certainly existed long before the one in the meme. I’m not saying that the Academy was the first one either, it wouldn’t surprise me if there were others before hand.
It seems to me like the claim “the oldest currently existing university” got converted to “the first university” and those are definitely not the same.

You won’t be getting any money back. While you did ultimately pay since the companies that technically paid just raised their prices, that doesn’t matter. You didn’t technically pay any taxes, so you have no recourse to get it back. This has all just been a massive gift to companies.

There’s no defense at a grand jury.

The volcano now is about 400 miles away, in Yellowstone, so there shouldn’t be a problem with that. And no, the volcano did not move, the continent did.

Are you confusing Blair and Cameron, or did Blair do stuff with a pig too?

“Unless it’s told to you in confession.”
Even if what he is saying is genuine, there is always the doctrinally required coverup.

Voting isn’t like a test, where the questions are unknown before you get your hands on it. Sample ballots are available well before you go to vote, allowing you to research all the candidates and ballot issues as much as you want, before showing up at a polling location.
Well, obviously, they are going to act to protect themselves. I don’t know the specifics of these cases, but these are public figures during a public session that was being recorded and the EU parliament makes those recordings publicly available. I don’t think there should be an expectation of privacy there. If you want a private conversation do it someplace else.
Well, that makes the headline misleading. She was filming herself, I assume she had her own consent.
