Glad you had a good trip! I accidentally did a heroic dose of acid back in 2016 and I have been leery of psychedelics ever since (though I have done shrooms and a few other research chemicals since then). I had 2x 130µG tabs of acid in my sock drawer for ~18 months that I didn’t store in the freezer or anything, so I figured their potency had diminished and decided to take both. Big mistake. :)
A heroes dose/heroic dose just refers to doing a very high dosage of a psychedelic substance like shrooms.

I’ve always heard a good normal dose is an eighth. According to that article linked above, a heroes dose is 5 grams, or an extra 1.5 grams beyond that.

I didn’t feel like my fps was suffering with the 1080 Ti at 1440p, but I doubled my fps in several games and it is pretty awesome.
Yeah in addition to the BDS argument, Coca Cola is the worst plastics polluter in the world:

Same, I wish this was ported to kde. Such a useful feature
dditty@lemmy.dbzer0.comto Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•Weekly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing this week?5·16 days agoCongrats! I feel similarly about DS3. Certain fights like Nameless King, Sister Friede, and Gael are some of the best in the entire series IMO, but the linear, grey/bleak levels drag on after a while and then you end the game with the meh Soul of Cinder. Plus that game is where the modern fast roll spam twitchy gameplay originated.
I’m a big fan of Humble Mechanic (pictured) content. He doesn’t strike me as someone who is unsympathetic to LGBTQIA+ matters, though his content never touches on anything like that so I’m just guessing

I’m not German so I can’t comment with any certainty, but it sounds like the life sentence is 15 years in prison followed by indefinite confinement after that?

They also told the court how the doctor had poured flammable liquid on their wounds and parts of their body – and in two cases, including that of a 14-year-old boy, on their genitals – and set them on fire. He injected one prisoner with a deadly poison while the man had been trying to defend himself. He died in front of fellow prisoners.
The court also heard how he had beaten and kicked a young man suffering from epileptic seizures, knowing he had the condition, which led to it worsening. He later administered a pill, which caused the man to die in the presence of his brother
Glad this guy will be behind bars for at least the next 15 years. What a sadistic piece of shit
Still here two years later (and now from the third instance I’ve moved to). Lemmy rules, reddit drools!
