This is something I think about a lot, and has been done well in fiction plenty already. My adhd wouldn’t just go away in a fantasy world. Sure I might have a burst of motivation for a while, but I probably wouldn’t magically be interested in studying and research just because I might be able to do some basic magic.

I remember seeing the same thing on Futureweapons 15+ years ago. Anecdotally, I can say from experience how hard it is to talk when your works are echoing back to you at just the right delay. It totally scrambles me.
Same. School firewall blocked based on host names, so we all learned a lot about the hosts file so we could manually set all of the IPs Minecraft needed to authenticate.
Even more so, a pretend friendly stranger that’s documented as being in your location.

3·11 months agoI could totally be misremembering, but I seem to recall the Ezio trilogy being praised for accurate cities. So not the original originals, but probably some of the best.

23·11 months agoThis used to be unironically true, to an extent. Especially with the original games.
Isn’t the Panama Canal basically running out of water? They should act like they’ve been cowed, sell it to us for a ton of money, and laugh all the way to the bank.
Might be a bug with my instance or app, but I’m not seeing any PM. I’ll try messaging you directly to see if it goes through.
Edit: got it, thank you! Looks like Memmy has issues with direct messages.
I would be interested in A Plague Tale, if nobody else expresses a desire. Nice of you to offer
I don’t think it could ever add up to a significant amount without the whole planet doing so. Not using the services today sends a measurable number of people who are behind the strike, instead of just most likely making it a very successful day numbers-wise.
Consistently picking wrong is just as useful
Similar, but with my feet/ankles. She wants to be close, but isn’t a big fan of petting. I’m not always great at respecting that desire, so we compromise like this.

Same, but nvidia shield. I’ve tried pihole and pf-blocker with no success.
Rabbits I’m not sure. Cats naturally want to bury their leavings, so they actually train themselves just fine. Show them where it is, keep it clean, and 99% of the time that’s that.
For the comedic value, have you tried He Who Fight With Monsters? It’s my most reread series by far, and is what I always give people after Carl.
Cradle is the other big one. The first half of book one is a bit of a hump for me, similar to reading Kal’s perspective in Way of Kings, but it picks up fast. The audiobook is magical; just about anything read by Travis Baldree is worth the time.

In my archaeology/anthropology classes in college, we were taught to say “projectile points” instead of “arrowheads” for basically this reason.
