The problem is not so much badly written programs and websites in terms of algorithms, but rather latency. The latency of loading things from storage, sometimes through the internet is the real bottleneck and why things feel so slow.

32·4 個月前porn addiction is not real, if someone’s porn consumption is such that it is disruptive of their daily lives then they likely have some sort of underlying psychological issue, but the same can be said of anything, including exercise for example

2·4 個月前I’ve had Safari of all things crash on me a couple of times. Still, not enough to actually be disruptive.
As far as I understand it, the Linux Foundation is more like a confederation rather than a unitary state. They don’t really directly manage each project under their umbrella, they just provide general guidelines and a neutral space for interested parties to interact and cooperate in.


Interesting, it will be based on the ARMv9 architecture and will be CPU only, no GPUs
