I can’t read this. The saying I know is probably Roman: “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me”.

Done :)

But this is a cluster of old batteries, all in bad shape for many years of usage under different circumstances, temperatures, etc. And they’re all different models. Each battery will need a different time for going from 20 to 80%… it’s wild.
I do this kind of risk assessment on the worst scenario, a fire could turn your home into ashes. The only option to me, being strict, would be removing those batteries (after all, your main goal is to re-use the other hardware.) But that’s only possible in a handful of phone models… it’s just unfortunate. I guess I should get a FairPhone next time!

I havent read the paper and surely he did a great job. Regardless of that, and in principle, anyone can do this in less than hour. The trick is to get an external confirmstion for all the discoveries you’ve made.

Do you prefer any of these? To me, knowing my SO ‘read’ could also be they replied mentally, right after opening the notification but never wrote anything. Or any plethora of reasons beyond what my insecure mind could conjure.
Only that I’m the one doing it, not my SO. Never condidered the issue, simply lived with it… (and ADHD). Anyway, after it was pointed out, I started to use reactios for that matter.
Mercury in gatorade? At least is not in uranus, like the last time the thermometer broke :P

It’s not a political party, that’s why many won’t see it. But it’s definitively there… like open source projects, hardware, fediverse, and so on.
Ah, I didn’t knew there was a president in America that made the mistake of paraphrasing it like that. Shame on americans that keep bein’ fooled in that fake democracy :P
