From my perspective has to do with form factor more than anything else. These smart glasses at a glance are indistinguishable from regular glasses. A phone looks like a phone, so people know what’s up at a glance.

Considering as of now generated stuff without much change does not have a copyright it is also not possible to apply a license. I am not a lawyer but I am quite sure about this one.

From what I understand from the article, generating code does not grant copyright, although of it is proven that most of the work is human made then you can have a copyright (to what percentage has to be manual work to have a copyright? Afaik, nothing is in the article). So with this in mind, I see that you cannot apply a license what essentially does not have a copyright (if most effort is not manual) but maybe someone can prove me wrong.

There is actually a lot more to this: a lot of people in the it sec crowd have been saying for many years that this habit of the gibberish passwords with symbols capitals and whatnot is actually a net deficit in security. These chatbots leverage a lot of emotions by having way too human interactions with people. In a sense, they are personified, which lead to vulnerable emotional people to have this sort of dependency and a massive fallout when it is unplugged or not accessible.
