My steam deck gets so much more play in the summer. My home office and desktop are in the hottest room in my house (because I’m dumb), so being able to hang out on the couch in my cool living room playing Fallout 1 has been a godsend

All the jabronis in this thread with “being able to decide when you die is BAD actually” have clearly never had a loved one painfully and slowly waste away in a shitty hospital bed praying for death every day.

People should have the right to decide when they decide to end the game of life. They should be able to make this decision with a qualified medical professional, preferably one who specializes in end of life care.

Made the switch on EndeavourOS this morning and so far so good. I was hesitant to update to Wayland because I’m still a newb and heard there were issues, but my system is AMD based so no problems (yet).

I like it

Windows -> Mint -> PopOS -> EndeavorOS

I tried Mint for a few days, enjoyed it but wanted something a bit more gaming focused. Tried Pop, had issues getting it set up, got it set up and didn’t like it. Moved to Endeavor, and after a brief learning period, its been everything I wanted in an OS.
