Some McDs will sell just the toys. Ita been a bit since I bought one but they are probably like $2 for a toy only. Also you will have to wait while the employee tries to figure out where the hidden menu button is that has “Toy only.”

Simple solution.
Put a Ken toy in the box.
Yes but also no.
We have the means to support everyome, but we also have a small minority assholes who are OBSESSED with making spreadsheet numbers go up so we can’t because profits are all that matter.
Aussie Scientist 1: “Oi, do you think her bedroom eyes are sexy enough?”
Aussie Scientist 2: “Looks good mate, but what if we also.give her some huge melons.”
Aussie Scientist 1: “Rabbits don’t huge melons, that’ll be unrealistic.”
Aussie Scientist 2: “Maybe, or the male rabbits will get a new fetish.”
Yeah, its pretty obvious peoppe are lying anout Santa once you realize the North Pole has no land.
Santa clearly is from the South Pole.
Pretty genius actually, getting people to look for him on the opposite side of the planet.
I have been working on learning Spanish and it really does feel that way sometimes.
Like they make fund of Spanish in movies, but sometimes its justo likeo el realityo.
But all tap is cold, its only hot because of the water heater.
You are not wrong. On any level. Like I said, the endless nonsense is just… endless. Itnhas “We have always been aw war with Eurasia” vibes, because that is basically the point pushed by the constant nonsense. Can’t let these countries become stronger or unified or whatever. They are just always “the enemy”, “terrorists”, Muslims" etc.
And I am.not saying I agree with thst mindset at all, it just followa with what you said about the US constantly over there.
And it goes with the idea that war in general is just fucking stupid and never solves shit.
Probably. Frankly, all these countries just feel like a rerun of the same endless bull shit at this point.
Better society safety nets. Accepting that constantly chasing quarterly gains is unsustainable. Sometimes its fine for a company to just “Do/make X” instead of constantly pivoting and enshitifying chasing every % of profits. Accepting that sometimes employees will have moments of zero productivity and thats fine because your company is creating jobs and supporting the economy (instead of laying people off because $$$$)
We have only grown complacent because they have everyone starved on the edge of poverty and no one can afford to risk it.
Self-defense from a self inflicted problem though?
Violence literally just creates more violence.
Like this stupid pointless fucking Iraq war. Even if dumbfuck somehow “wins”, which its clear will never happen, do they not realize all the destruction done by the US is just going to create yet another ISIS/Al Queda/whatever style terrorist organization as retatiation?
Then it’ll be “oh boy, gotta kill more brown people in the desert!”
Wash, rinse, repeat…
If its not intelligent, what is the point?
I mean, you can play GTA without being a psychopath murderer.

3·18 days agoYeah. It feels like Sony advertising Playstation OS for PC hardware.
Like what is the actualndifference between Steam OS.and Big Picture Mode, really.
People who have been dreaming of it, have dreamed of AI.
We don’t have anytbing anywhere near actual intelligence. We have smoke and mirrors in a marketing trenchcoat.
It’ll go away.
Like every one of these dumb “next big thing” bull shit scams. The money will fall out and OpenAI and Anthropic will collapse and everyone relies on them to power every other LLM.
The vast majority of people AT BEST don’t even use AI or think about it at all. The bulk of what is left hate it for one or more of a variety of reasons.
Hell, I use Claude for random personal code projects maybe once a month but I would not care if it went away and I will never pay for any LLM.

2·18 days agoI know its The Onion, but there probably is some truth in that. Why pit effort intonterrorizing your enemy’s people when your enemy’s government is doing that job for you just fine.

I think it may actually be company policy not to do do this, at least for some time. Because they don’t want to get in trouble for assuming.
