  • Both -parties- ARE equally terrible. They are all in on and define the bullshit system and both are 100% two halves of the same problem.

TRUMP is a different story though. For one thing he is no more a Republican than he is a Democrat he is there to do whatever he thinks is best for him and that is it. He makes any Democrat I have ever seen look amazing in comparison. I generally vote Independent and even swore years ago that I would never vote for a D or R again without some insane change to something and I do still refuse to support either shit ass party in general. Trump is a different story though, he made me vote for a Democrat for the first time in my life. Even the normal terrible D and R bullshit looks amazing when you are watching Trump destroy the country.

Note that there are good politicians who stand out from the actual party on both sides. I would vote for some if they made it to the election just for the fact that they have a cause and a vision to help people and even if I don’t like the means it is sure a hell of a lot better than the current state of affairs.

  • Both sides are terrible and terribly similar in all sorts of bad ways. I have hated every President in my lifetime ( back to Reagan) ALL of them have been terrible so most years I would sound like you but Trump is different. He is all the worst qualities of the worst both sides have to offer and then turn it up to 11. I hate Democrats as much as Republicans normally but this piece of warm wet dogshit is on a whole other level. I would vote for any of our past trash Presidents and be happy about it if it meant no more Trump… ever.

  • Biggest and easiest method would be to co opt the primary process. So many fewer people vote on who the actual party candidate will be that it is far easier to influence the final election. If enough registered Dems actually participated in the primaries we could get someone like Bernie in. To really mess with the Repubs people could co opt their party instead, though asking Dems to register as Republicans would be a lot more difficult. Keep screwing Musk as well. Can burn up the ones at dealerships still, they are insured too so the idea of insurance companies not wanting to insure Tesla would still be viable, though definitely slower and more difficult but this way we are at least not pushing undecided folks over to the wrong side. Protesting is always useful those should definitely keep going. In fact most of what the left is doing is helpful, this one specific action I think is counterproductive though. Definitely the biggest change that can be made is participation in the primaries. At the very least we could get an actual left leaning Democrat instead of a weak willed centrist. At best it would be possible to co opt both (though that part would be highly unlikely).
