We’re seeing more political violence as things escalate, won’t be too long before it spreads to representatives and the obscenely wealthy Is imagine.
Sprinkle in a little credit card debt and 2k rent and good luck. You’d think the 1% would be trying to change something before the guillotines come out
With how widespread the memes are now, I doubt it’d be significant
At first I thought, nah, they sincerely believe it’s best and would love to be a martyr. But it’s June, you’re 100% correct, this won’t make it into a classroom.
Even if it ends in more hotels, hotels fit more people and supply more jobs than the equivalent space in houses. For temporary lodging houses don’t make sense.
Right, as someone who is, that’s terrifying. Meanwhile, Everytime anything like this happens every other cop says I wouldn’t do that., but somehow this keeps happening.
Without the supply of homes going into shortterm rentals like VRBO it would increase supply for people who actually live in that city, travelers can use hotels. Not a full stop fix, but it would increase supply/lower rent.
Exactly, banning or severely limiting short-term rental housing ie VRBO and foreign land/property purchases Id wager would make a huge impact on righting the boat.
Not what you’re asking, but relevant: I’ve mostly played in homebrew worlds and exclusively DMd homebrew, and what ive found is actually having the different races have some representation means more than their historical heritage in the world. If it comes up, maybe in prep detail it out a little. If there’s only one Tabaxi in the world, it’s origin is more suspicious (needs explanation) than if players encounter them occasionally.
Wanting my players to be open to trying less common races I recently made a d100 including every race I could find so that the NPCs can be anything instead of whatever pops in my head in a rush to describe the shopkeep.
So many things are starting to make sense
A few more people would probably use bikes, but I don’t see how this solves the issue, no matter how good the cycling infrastructure we won’t see cars and gas stations just disappear. I suspect I don’t see the goals as you intend them, but I don’t see people dropping there kids off at school on bikes or biking to and from a restaurant to eat a steak dinner, not to mention city services and transportation. If your target is really emissions I’d suspect that electric cars and limiting private jets would make more progress.
Right, my thought has always been I’d rather change the ink when the print quality bothers me, not because the company that sold me the printer is forcing me to.
The first, if it’s Kroger, don’t have to use a phone #, or yours at least. But honestly I’d recommend not getting groceries there.
