Games@lemmy.world•TRIMUI Brick Hammer, a weirdly named but beautiful handheldEnglish
1·3 days agoYeah it depends on how much you’d use it I guess. I remember playing some old titles on a GBA emulator app back during highschool breaks, but it kinda got old quickly. Would be pointless to buy something specifically for it unless you’re really into it, but if so something like this that’s well integrated would be pretty neat to have.

3·3 days agoIf it can do it with just that then it’s sensible to have less, since idling memory will use power and the less you have the longer the battery will last.
I guess it really depends on what the metric you want to gauge by is, ‘contribution’ is very vague. Manpower, resources, effect, something else?
It could also be that the survey question was later phrased more as who contributed the most in France during WW2, which would not include the Soviets much at all.

I don’t think dying a lot necessarily means means doing much, it just means that you are incompetent and have a careless disregard for life.

6·17 days agoThe worldwide class difference is a problem when the market is open to everyone, so investment grade assets like real estate are priced on a foreign billionaire level everywhere. Our local labour laws are pretty decent, and we have really good wage equality overall but the rest of you are dragging us down frankly. Since you mentioned them, China had the right idea to impose severe restrictions around that type of “investing” and we should probably follow their example to some degree. One way to fight absurd wealth accumulation is to make it impossible to buy anything with it.

When this post is two days old and still on the very top of my feed you know that it’s either a ghost town or the sorting algo doesn’t work.

My general guidelines would be: Gnome if you’re used to Android, KDE if you’re used to Windows, Cinnamon if you’re used to MacOS, XFCE if your PC is a potato.

The bureaucratic kind, one that usually involves a government given pfx, adobe acrobat and some text plus timestamp. Okular can do it if you put your mind to it and waste a lot of time but it’s really involved.
