WhatsApp (& mobile internet in general) replaced it for me. It’s no longer a requirement for both my friends and myself to be at our computers at the same time to talk shit to each other.

Don’t give them ideas
Wow that looks like a generic imitation car from a video game or low budget movie that can’t afford to licence real cars.
Also its performance is something else… Power 45 bhp, top speed 78 mph, max range 140 miles, 0-60 19 seconds. Kudos to Dacia, I didn’t know it was even possible to make an electric car that slow.
I only save scummed the Gwent tournament as it’s a one-shot type deal. The rest of the game there was no need as it autosaves frequently and there is basically no consequences to losing a game of Gwent to a rando
Boy that’s a lot of work just to play some old crap from more than 30 years ago

I always get to the part with nuclear power, then I take a look at the space elevator objective recipes, realise I need to multiply my factory size by about 20 and just nope out
Chuffed is slang for very pleased in the UK.
As my crude father would say: “I’m chuffed to buggery!”
Although buggery is a bad thing on its own, when combined with chuffed it’s like a +1 enchantment instead.
You’re right that the idea has come from the mind boggling number of options in vehicles these days. The company I worked for recently had over a million different combinations, and making more physical parts standard fit saves them money.
However that saving is not passed on to the customer. The company pockets it all, and makes more money on top with the subscriptions.
I only played the two “new” ones. They were both good, fairly interesting, but not amazing. It’s hard to say, but it just felt like something was missing from them. Maybe it was a lack of things to do between missions beyond finding my way into a few random apartments for no real reason?
It’s worth noting that I’m generally not into stealth games, I get impatient and just want blood, or think I can sprint past a few guards without being seen. (I think I fucked up in the police station in HR, and the entire interior of the building was just corpses)
Out of the two human revolution was a bit better but there wasn’t much between them.
I did like the aesthetics and general mood of the games though, and cyberware will always be cool.
I still would have played the next one if it hadn’t been cancelled sadly.
It’s still the same story / theme so even though it’s mostly bug free now it won’t be anything new to you if you’ve already put 30 hours into it. They did revamp the RPG mechanics though.
I loved it personally, Night City just gave off a certain vibe that had me wandering around like a tourist. However, after playing it to 100% and putting it down for a year or so, I tried to start a new save in prep for the expansion and I lost interest in replaying the story.
The reputation comes from the US military being stationed in the UK during the height of WW2 rationing when there was an extremely limited list of ingredients to cook with. They were unable to associate a country under an attempted siege from U-boats with a reduced supply of food.
We do have a love of beige food at times, but it’s essentially our version of chicken tendies.
Been to the US a few times. Your food tastes extremely average and the only difference to anywhere else is that it has about 3 times the kcals and half the nutrition. I’ve had heartburn and constipation virtually every time I’ve visited.
And your beer is possibly the worst in the world. It’s pisswater.
With opinions like that I’d be surprised if you’ve even left your own state, let alone the country.
I think it was because there were a few high profile let-downs, like Kerbal Space Program 2, Cities Skylines 2, Starfield etc. Even Zelda, which was eagerly anticipated, was only OK and interest fizzled out quite quickly.
The meme itself must be a good 15 years old too
Yeah, up until about 2 weeks ago I was still using a Pixel 4. It was 5 years old but never felt slow at all.
