100% some people are genuinely shitty people and their behavior would happen even if society wasn’t misogynist, classist, etc.

My goal wasn’t to alleviate them from responsiblity. I do not believe it is their fault for growing up in a society that is against them, but it is their fault for not thinking crtically and choosing to perpetuate that hate once they are an adult.

Also I was thinking of abuse on a societal level, not an individual level, but that does contribute. (I probably could have used a better word. I do agree that abuse implies individual rather than societal.) I find the fact that so much misogyny and other hate exists within the overton window to be repulsive. Trump said “grab her by the pussy,” (plus a bunch of other terrible things) and got into the oval office not once, but twice, which shows that society has a major problem with finding hate acceptable. Why people find that hate acceptable I imagine varies between demographics.

I still do stand by my previous comment, which is my thoughts on why specifically women voted the way they did, although I agree it has room to be expanded on more.

I think a major part of it is that people simply aren’t thinking things through enough. They should be questioning society’s misogyny, racism, etc, but for some reason they choose to accept it as normal.

Abuse towards women is unfortunately so normalized by society that I bet most of those women don’t realize how much they have been manipulated since childhood to be against their own autonomy, especially if they grew up in a religious environment.

It’s possible that women of minority demographics voted more blue because some realized how anti-(their specific minority) republicans are but, just like the white women, weren’t put off by republicans’ misogyny.

I’ve actually seen a few and I personally don’t have a problem with it. I have also seen a lot of trans men on lesbian apps and technically, they should be on straight dating apps, but queer dating apps are more welcoming and it’s not an uncommon experience for transgender people to get banned from straight dating apps unfortunately (I myself am banned from tinder). I wouldn’t be surprised if those apps were also banning femboys as well.

I’m a trans woman, but I went on grindr to search for femboys one time since there aren’t really any on lesbian apps and I got so many unsolicited dick pics + one gaping bussy pic that I just left and never came back. And I was only on there for like 5 minutes. I don’t know if those dick pics were from bots or not but I’ve stopped using dating apps cause it seems every single one gets me either a bunch of bots or a bunch of dick pics.

Damn I had no idea even people as experienced as you were having a tough time. I’m a new grad and I spent two years searching for an internship and found nothing. I got two interviews at one company but they chose someone else. I’m making projects (currently teaching myself spring boot rn) and I’ve had a professional look over my resume and still nothing. When I was in high school a kid brought a gun with the intent to shoot up the school, but he got caught with it and ran before he was able to use it. We were in lockdown for over an hour while they searched for this kid, so while it thankfully wasn’t a mass shooting it was still scary and it affected the whole school. Some kids were so rattled they didn’t show up the next day or two. If the shooting did happen that would add 2,000 people to the number who have experienced a mass shooting.

That would be strange if Annisem literally wrote removed and then changed it to transexual later. Only reasons I can think of is that it was a bizarre attempt at trolling or they really did mean removed and then changed it because people thought it actually got removed. It’s also possible they did originally write a different word such as the t slur which they changed to transexual after seeing that what they originally wrote got removed.

Kinda strange that world blocks that word. I’m on a queer instance and I can still see that word, in fact I don’t think I have ever encountered any removed words on my instance.
