🙄 PHP is great for most things. I can’t believe it’s 2024 and this terrible relic from 15 years ago still persists.

I haven’t used big 0 or algorithms in my 15 years of professional coding. It’s just not important unless you work for a Google and even then you’d have support.

It was advertised and they lost a class action. I ended up with like $150 soccer I could prove my usage.

I get this is a meme, but the most successful projects are the ones that quickly get you running and are supportive to new users. I’ll get off my soapbox.

I think you might just be missing some of the content. I think from the commoners here others have noticed this trend as well. I couldn’t care less just just saying I only see it here. Though I do spend less time on Reddit these days.

I think it’s a lemmy thing. The folks here are typically the folks in smaller more progressive communities. You dont even see it THAT much on Reddit.

I’ve worked with 1 known ftm and didn’t know until 4 years in. I work in a 250 person org which is fairly progressive. I wonder if it’s that easy at a lot of bigger and vc tech.
