No you will still need to host Peertube on your server or VPS etc not even sure why they call it PEERtube because it’s clearly not peer to peer. What I’m talking about is a decentralized peer to peer streaming tool like Stremio (uses torrents) but instead of having movies, we could have you know small/average lenght videos like youtube, and also channels and so on.
People could build a sort of mix of youtube and torrent tech, like popcorn or stremio but for short copyright free content. I dont know how to do it.
I keep hearing about going to the moon building this and that but when was last time man set foot there? Just do it already.

What about piped like solutions hostux, invidious etc? How do they work? Is it through API? Can Google block it like reddit did theirs? Also if google is so concerned about ad blockers why do they allow those extensions in their Chrome store? I thinks its going to get really tough to get Youtube for free without ads. Eventually Youtube might become something like Netflix or something.

People should be able to choose if they want to see ads or not. When I need a product and start product hunting than that’s the perfect time to open yourself for “suggesting a thing” as you call it. Now if I am just browsing a page like reddit or whatever and see an ad that I really don’t want to see, don’t need etc etc. THAT is brainwashing because it stays unconsciouslly on your mind if you see it enough times which increases the chances that you’ll act on it, buy, think about it. This is basic stuff.
Many many years from now IF humanity has not wiped out itself and actually evoved, this statement:
“Advertisement is brainwashing and should be against human rights.”
Will be 100% absolutely true.
