People should be allowed to do things they’re bad at, however…

I get annoyed when somebody does something poorly but with confidence, as they can easily convince others that they’re actually good

Easiest example of this is singing. I’m nowhere near perfect, but I’ve had training so I can spot when somebody is making rookie mistakes and the like

Vtubers are the biggest perpetrators here. I think the only ones where I’ve liked their singing are Susui and Calliope. Surprise surprise, they both have backgrounds in music

  • Oh yeah, 100% I played for the first ~3 years OW was out and had a blast for the first two

It was after that where I started getting good and saw the flaws of the game. As you said, too many characters counter other characters, and the constricted 6v6 (and later 5v5) made individual performance stressful in many games

If you’re looking for a similar (but imo much better/laid back experience) then TF2 is a great game, where the medic supporter is the strongest class in the game

  • Been playing through the adventure mode of MTG Forge

It’s a good time, but I dislike the layout of the world and how quests work. It’d feel so much better if the locations weren’t randomly splodged around the map and instead followed some structure

Similarly, quests are really jank. You’re punished for not taking them, but also punished for abandoning them. Early game they’re either insanely hard or require a huge amount of luck, late game it just feels like a list of random chores

Also it’s annoying to go to a town, rifle through all the shops for a few minutes, before heading on over to the next town. They should cut down the amount of shops per town (right now it’s 10+, each with 6 items to choose from), and just make it a menu to go between them, as the second it takes to load is quite jarring and the travel time when in the town is redundant

But I’m just being picky. Right now it’s a fun game if you’re already into mtg, but with those changes it’d be an amazing game in its own right
