It is incredibly good. Cheese and chalk good. Using it with Aider really highlights how much the Dev space is about to change.

It depends how you run it etc. You may have not been using a quantized model.
As others have said. I left photoprism for immich and it’s much better
They are not taken seriously by law enforcement. They are advertised to be taken seriously.
It’s awful but that’s the way it is. If your experience working with a victim in your jurisdiction has been a positive one I’m really glad to hear that and I would love to know what things made it work so we’ll.
In my experience supporting a victim, there’s no ramifications for the perpetrator, no appetite for investigation and no support for the victim outside the private system (the support hotlines are particularly useless).
Police simply are not there to protect and support victims of personal violence offences.
You can call bullshit all you want, but this is my lived experience in a western country and I have nothing to gain by being deceptive 🤷.
Based on my experience with how the law deals with victims of child sexual assault, I think all we have is vigilantism.
This would happen multiple times before it’s stopped and this is only challenged by the power position of the assailant.
It’s not great, but, in my experience, sexual assault is not taken very seriously, unfortunately.
I love this discussion because it’s a complex issue.
I suppose I stand on the side that maybe she should have just delivered them. It’s just words and individuals can throw garbage in the bin pretty easily. I sure as shit wouldn’t want anybody filtering my mail.
OTOH, “got a job to do” is a weak justification for unethical behaviour.
Put me down 3:2 in favour of delivering the things I guess.
Typically modal refers to insert/normal mode.
Mode in terms of the file type is fairly standard across all editors.
So Emacs, VScode, Vim and Pycharm are the obvious choices.
Geany and Kate are options but they’re not as nice to use.
See generally helix and zed.
Yeah that’s been my least favourite experience with Lemmy.
Many replies are hostile and highly opinionated.
I don’t have an answer for your question but it was a good question and it made me curious.
I’m in favour of domestic production but I would always want more information about it.
Perhaps more complex then what you’re hoping for.
But consider taking a look at hyprland. I’ve been very impressed with how modular and smooth this window manager is
I strongly recommend EndeavourOS. You’ll have more flexibility to experiment with different setups and greater access to software.
Dumping fuel is not uncommon.
The plane needs to be a certain weight to land and so fuel burn is calculated into that.
Obviously planes don’t intend to dump fuel but there are unforeseen circumstances which mean necessitate this.
It’s hard to say but I should imagine dilution, has a large impact on any sort of environmental concerns.
So I use reverse proxies etc with my containers for others services
But KeePass with rsync is easier for passwords. I just use termux on my phone
I recommend using a docker container, they make the whole thing painless and easy.
I think the Linuxserver.io one is what I used from memory.
Yeah if this is for a small number of users, I would recommend wireguard or tailgate.
Port forwarding is asking for trouble.
Nobodies defending anything. You’re just a troll seeking to stir trouble.
Blocked.
What is wrong with you? There’s no need to sexualise children like that, tone it down.
The poster made a fair point, this is indeed a cultural phenomena not reflected by Japanese media. Which is surprising because they typically don’t pull punches.
Element is a complete disaster.
Like, completely unmaintained and broken.
Matrix works over i2P and Tor, just proxy the service.
P2P chat could include retroshare but it’s not really a solution due to a variety of ux issues.
I wasn’t aware of that. I’ve even seen vendors using it.
I know it’s E2EE and open source but there is a lot of Metadata.
What other limitations does it have?
How does it compare with Immich?
