Of course Namco’s patents expired in 2015 at a time when seamless load screens had become the industry standard.

edit: I guess there’s just an uncanny resemblance of this one character to his style. I looked up the artist and saw it’s pretty varied. Neat. Also there’s a follow up image where they can’t decide what to watch so they just fuck instead.

It’s this. A rational person would be fine with the court order, because Trump’s argument was that it wasn’t legal to continue funding SNAP.
But Trump and Republicans aren’t rational. They “lost” the court battle and now must appeal to save face. The subject of the court order is irrelevant - fascist ideology does not permit the autocracy to admit defeat or allow their absolute rule to be challenged.
It’s so simple and yet so damn infuriating. Why are people still under this spell even after everything that has happened?
If they claim they know that these boats have drugs on them, they could just apprehend them when they made port.

Ubisoft took one risk back in the mid-late 2000s and have been riding that safety wave ever since with asscreed. They’re not the last people who should be pointing fingers at other publishers for playing it too safe and releasing formulaic games, but damn if they aren’t next-in-line for that honor.
